Just a suggestion ......But would it be possible and maybe better to have more streamlined categories for Forum topics?

What works best for me is to look at "Recent Posts".... posts in one category may also apply to other categories. Or I do a search function for a particular topic (ex; roof repair, broken spring, No 12v Power...etc)

A group just got a bunch of these categories added on the Escapees forum and mostly they are seeing little action.

The individual categories are great if your looking for a specific subject on a specific model.
Otherwise so many common parts are used across all manufacturers that a water pump is a water pump, dump valves are dump valves.
Now if you go to the Heartland forums, they do break the forums down by brand, and model.

I have seen that in forums, in general. For me, too many choices looks very cluttered (first thought is "not worth the hassle") and people get into a groove of the areas they look at. In super active forums like rv.net, it does seem to work but that forum is so different than this one. I have been in there for years and I don't feel like I have the slightest familiarity with anyone that posts there but for specific technical information, it would be my first stop. I, too, always reach for "Recent Posts" unless I am using the "search" function for something here.
