Hello, my name is Allen. I introduced myself back in December 2012when I first discovered the fulltime RV option as a lifestyle. I have followed Howard & Linda's blog off and on since then. Back in 2012 I thought I would have to work until I was 70. Since then I purchased a used gas class A, retired, started full timing (June 2014) sold the house and spent time volunteering at a COE park. We are comfortable with the life style so far. Still in vacation mode as we travel south to Florida for the winter visiting friends and family along the way.we have had some equipment issues along with operator errors but a lifetime career of equipment maintenance has helped resolve these problems.we continue to upgrade our rig as we go to better suit how we live. So far we have installed an inverter, solar panels, tires, convection oven, and a lateral file cabinet. We are constantly refining our storage and picking up odds and ends like air card, RV GPS, LED TV and cooking equipment. We will be attending the BoonDocking Ralley in February and hope to gain some knowledge that will help avoid the FHU every where we go : )
