I'm getting 2 to 3 bars (signal) 4G LTE without the Wilson Sleek and 4 to 5 bars with it and can't get internet through it. My computer sees it, connects and can't get past the identifying part. Any clues?
Need some help,

When this happens to me, Mitch usually has me do (in a DOS window) ipconfig / release and then ipconfig /renew. Also reboot the computer and close and reopen the browser. If all that doesn't work, he plays with some adapter settings in the network management section of the control panel. I'll try to have him answer the question a bit better later, if you haven't already found a solution.

I'll reboot the computer, but the same thing is happening on the ipad too.

The problem is the data pipe on the sleek . Even though it increase the RSSI it can actually restrict the flow of data . Only use the sleek when absolutely necessary . With a signal of 2 to 3 bars you should be fine without amplification . If a smaller gain is needed . Millenicom sells an external antenna and adapter at a good price for the hot spots. and can give up to 14 DB gain by itself.

Do you have any other Verizon cellular data enabled devices.. like a phone or tablet? Are they getting online? That would rule out a local tower issue.
What about when turning off the Sleek and just using the MiFi? That would rule out the Sleek.
Have you successfully used this setup in other locations? That would rule out the setup.

I can usually get good internet with 3 bars of 3g. And I swear I paid the bill. lol

Update:
Here we are 2 days later and other than reboot I didn't do or change anything and we seem to be running fine.

Sorry for not responding Cherie and Chris, I didn't see your post until this morning.
It was slow on both the ipad and laptop. It must have been the tower since this is how I have always connected. When we have had this problem before we just switched from my phone (Samsung S4 4G) to Pam's phone a droid 3G and hers would work, what's the deal with this? We suspended her service since we no longer need 2 phones...we're joined at the hip now.
