I know a lot of you use WiFi Ranger products. Have you ever needed help? I can't get my Millenicom hotspot to tether to the GO2. I called the support number at WiFi Ranger and got a voice mail. They never called back. Sent them an Email, I get a generic reply about power booting. I'd already done that about 30 times. So, did I screw up in buying from WiFi Ranger? Has anyone else experienced this lack of service? Does anyone know any tricks to getting the hotspot and the Ranger to talk to each other? It seems as if the Pantech recognizes the Ranger but the Ranger does not recognize the Pantech.
OK, I'm through venting now!

The GO2 works fine wireless, just won't tether. Hope your works better than mine.
They are generally very responsive, but they are a small team.
Our Pantech and WFR Go2 tether just fine.. no tricks, just works.
(All WFR products are purchased via the WiFiRanger.com website as well - the Go2 is listed under the RV stuff)

Also, Kelly Hogan (head cheese of WFR) has told us that customers needing support are also welcome to post to their Facebook Page at: www.facebook.com/WiFiRanger - they regularly monitor there.

old, but may help someone else in future.
there are apparently a few tricks, if you have a mifi and want to tether it (i have a 290 usb modem, so dont do this)
you need to select the tether option (apparently ) on the mifi/291 control panel.

Hey y'all,
I know about the tethering mode. I wish it was that easy. I tried all that I knew and the crew at WiFi Ranger worked it for days. The firmware version of my Pantech mifi is different from the one they had, so they contacted Pantech to see if they could get one with my version. Bad news...Pantech is in bankruptcy. So, the only way I can use my Pantech 291 with my WiFi Ranger is wirelessly. I hate it because I wanted the Wifi Ranger to be the only transmitter transmitting.
If anyone knows any other tricks, I'll be glad to try them.
