While not RV specific, there are many interesting ideas that could easily translate into RV applications. Excellent source of space saving concepts.
The programs are about an hour, so streaming them might be better done when you have tons of WiFi available.

I've been getting a newsletter for years on tiny houses and it often includes RVs in the mix. Many of the appliances and furniture that appear in articles would apply to the RV lifestyle and so would the "less is more" concept. I did see that some of the builders are now building to RV specs for insurance purposes so they are very similar.

The show has some helpful ideas on downsizing as well. We like the idea of designating a specific space equal to the square footage of storage we will have, including the longest available dimensions, for sorting our "keep" stuff. We may not have the rig until just after we sell the house so loading up will be a rushed process.
Some of those little places are smaller than the MHs and 5ers most fulltimers live in! We're thinking there could be one in our future exit plans .

We have been watching this series, too. As Jodee alluded to, we enjoy it more for the philosophical discussions about lifestyles, "stuff," and function than we do for the actual design of the tiny houses.

As others have stated, the whole idea of downsizing and "minimalism" is what initially attracted me to RVing and at the end of the day a "Tiny Home" is just that... whichever way you decide to go...RV or Tiny House.
After following this forum as well as others including Tiny House blogs etc. I had the idea of combining the two...what I mean is that I plan to incorporate fulltime RVing while meeting people across the nation in all types of "Tiny Homes".
In the near future I will begin my journey to meet as many people across the nation that enjoy the freedom that Tiny Home life offers! Hope to see many of you in the future.
I will be blogging about it on my new site at http://www.tinyhomenetwork.com...please feel free to follow me on social media for updates. There are links to all the social media accounts on the site.
This is going to be fun :)

The best idea I seen was the ones that have wheels and tires under them. Since my health problems; have been having trouble trying to adjust to being stationary. Been here 25 months and purchased and older 5er which I doubt I'll ever travel with. Been mulling over the idea of getting a teardrop or enclosed 12-14' TT to tow behing my Ranger and do some fishing and camping for 2-5 days at a time.
I think we pay enough taxes without having to pay land; school and permanent housing taxes. My Brother in law; in his 80's now just had to renovate his old home. He told me it was about more expensive than when he built the place in the mid 1950's.
Even more incentive for me to live in my 5er and locate a used 2 person unit to have a few outings. I have loved being outdoors since I was young; fishing; sleeping under the stars and hiking. I delivered newspapers in 30 below zero temperatures in a blizzard when I was 12-17 yrs. old w/a sleigh or toboggan; in the blinding rain and thunderstorms and of course the nice dry early AM hours also!

The show is good. I like the tiny houses but, none of them have a 55" TV. I prefer my RV.

We only watch the show for the space saving ideas and strategies. Our exit strategy does not include an abode smaller than whatever RV we decide on. Still, lots of great ideas.
There is a new series on FYI, heres a link...
