I'm sitting here in my Fiver like I've been doing since Tuesday most of the time! It is 102 degrees with a 127 real feel humitemperature. Have until this Thursday before it comes back to the 80's. I have to store some of this heat until December and January as the Old Farmers' Almanac is predicting another cold Winter! Any one have a storage unit for this heat??? LOL!

It's in the 90's here in KS and we are supposed to cool off the end of next week. Our winter was cold and icy so hoping not to be here in the winter. Big old house with a dark-colored roof and stone foundation......... Yeah, if you find a way to bottle the heat and use it in the winter, you can put us down for a dozen bottles to start!

Day number 100 of 1000* heat here in south east Texas.... or at least that's what it feels like.
I do know that we haven't had any rain in 4 weeks, with temps hovering around 99-105 degrees daily. Just depends if we get a cloud or two.
Stay cool folks, just remember all that complaining about how cold it was last winter!

We are in Savannah, TN and our air conditioners are working as hard as they can. I think we screwed up when we got a painted RV. We need some good ol' reflective white! Tomorrow, we go to Mountain View, AR and our site is supposed to be shady. Hopefully, that will help. Y'all stay as cool as you can!

We have spent most of July and August in NW PA and it is unusually cool and rainy here. Nothing over 80 and lots of wet. Actually saw leaves falling off the trees yesterday. Reminds me of home in Oregon. Can't say I am sad, but it is not the best for the farms around here.
Heading to GA in a few weeks and hoping that it is not too hot. But I hear that the northern part of the US is headed for another unusually cold winter. Hope we get home to Oregon before that sets in.
If not, then I guess we will spend the holiday's in the Southwest. Kind of like this free and easy lifestyle where "what will be will be".

Blech ditto. Here in the Florida pan handle/Panama city, it is around 100, with a heat index of around 105 to 115.

Day before yesterday I left Lake Vallecito, Co where the daytime temp was around 70ish. Had to leave due to illness in family. I'm in Amarillo this afternoon, 94 or so and heading to Oklahoma City , Ok where it's dancing around 100. I am about to feel your pain.

100-102 in East Texas, but not humid. Can you get cabin fever in the summer?

It's supposed to be in the mid 90's here in southern Oregon until Saturday and then cool into the mid 80's. The extended says it should stay in the 80's until we leave here in just over 2 weeks.

Colorado Springs area, 76 degrees right now, which is about noon. We went camping up in Northern Colorado a couple of weeks ago and stayed in tents with sleeping bags. Cool there as well. While it has not started here yet, some of the trees near Estes Park were beginning to turn to their Autumn beauty. Looking forward to my first opportunity to photograph snow in Colorado after decades of camping in the summer in the past.
I feel for you, Ed, but unless you can hook up and head this way, I can't do much for you.
