I was in Anchorage in the 70's and would love to go back again some day. I am so sorry that your trip was ended in this manner. Consider you seeing AK just delayed and work on getting stronger. Take care.

Do all of the PT exercises they give you. Tiring yes, but the more you do the more new pathways your brain will make and the quicker you'll be back to doing all of the things you want to do.

From someone else who had plans interrupted due to a medical emergency, I'm sending prayers for a speedy recovery your way. Take it easy and one day at a time and you WILL get back on your feet.

Prayers for a full and speedy recovery!! Having dealt with both my mother and father having minor strokes many years ago, can say that correct PT and pushing as far as you can each session is the key.

My sister had a stroke a while back. She worked her butt off in rehab and now, you can't even tell she had one.
Work hard and the brain figures out how to send out the messages via different paths.
Prayers to you and good luck in the recovery process. Remember, you will have days where you think you can't do what is being asked. Those are the days you try even harder and don't succumb to giving up!

Like the others, our prayers are with you as well. Life is full of little setbacks, so do as the others advised and embrace the physical therapy and other treatments and then get back out there.
God bless you and your family.

Prayers are with you my brother.
Been there, done that, but didn't even get a "T" shirt.
Do your PT and when leave hospital care, exercise your brain. Lumosity is very good for this.
Above all, don't give up , don't stagnate.
