Does anyone get together and form small acoustic groups or even a band while ft rv living?

Jane, absolutely most parks I have been in for any length of time have many musicians getting together and/or joining together to play informally. Anytime a few get together to play a few people always gather around to listen. I'm sure if you set outside and play you will have others stopping by to ask if they can join in. Just use some common courtesy and don't play to late or to loud.

Check out acoustic musicians on RVillage. There are a bunch of folks who like to jam.

I'm a rock and roller. Think Chuck Berry, not Van Halen. My Telecaster and home-brewed Tweed Champ clone are ready. If I was playing gigs I'd want one of my bigger amps but for travel, a Champ can't be beat. Everything from Howard Roberts to ZZ Top. I have my Yamaha acoustic, a Tele (fretted) and a Strat (Slide, open G). Gig bags. Double gig bag for the Fenders. Acoustic is good, but at heart, I am an electric guitarist.
