hello all, had the opportunity to check out a 2006 Hurricane. it has 14,700 miles on it, gen has roughly 69 hours. the interior looked in great shape. slides were all out and operating good. the tires will have to be changed out (learned here on this site how to check for the date, 50-06). the asking price is $41,900. i'd like to get some feedback on the quality and where the hurricane falls on the list of use for fulltiming. has anyone here had experience with the hurricane or know about things to look for? thanks, ric and rebecca

A friend has a Hurricane, probably in the 2006-2008 range. He uses it as a temporary home for his work, he has one of those jobs where he works for 8 days and then off for 8 days. He lives in snow country and hasn't complained about the RV.
I'm guessing it works well for his needs and has held up to many years of near constant use since 2008 (that's when I first saw it). I liked the floorplan. I can't advise on price but if you do an internet search I'm sure you will find cost comparisons.
It's made by Four Winds, they have several different models using wind type names for cost comparing.

The Bear II, thanks for you reply. very helpful tryin to make a decision. this would be our first coach. i checked on kelly blue book and the price is very attractive. on of the rv dealers here has the same model on their lot. again thanks for the info. ric
