weird problem---does the ac make the bedding feel clammy?

we have an ac in the bedroom and as both of us like it very cool we keep the thing on pretty much constantly. but lately, even on the hottest days I notice the bed sheets feel clammy when I go to bed.
I have a latex topper on top of a good thick futon, with a thick wool topper just under the fitted sheet.
I've never experienced this before---could it be from the ac?
I thought ac pulled moisture from the air, so what gives?

Maybe it's pulling moisture from the latex, futon and wool which causes the bedding to feel clammy.
Our AC stays on pretty much 24/7 because we like it extremely cool (...our friends say "What do you do hang meat in here?")
Never have had what you describe. We use a cotton/polyester blend mattress cover, a featherbed topper, cotton blend sheets and a down filled comforter.

it's so strange, the wool and the latex are both supposed to be good temp regulators, I wonder if there is moisture coming from beneath the gooseneck where the bed is...

Latex in the bedroom..........Clammy bed sheets. Too much info. I don't think the problem is your A/C. Hahaha
OK get back on track. My wife put some kind of a plastic/vinyl material mattress topper and the sheet on top. I couldn't handle it, kept getting clammy and sweaty. I think she put a thicker blanket on top of the cover and then the sheet. Now no problems.

My solution is to use cotton bedding; mattress cover, topper and sheet sets. Also I use cotton quilts and no synthetic fibers in the bedroom. Only use cotton PJs also because it is comfortable next to you skin. Guess if I lived up north I might want some wool blankets. Just my 2 cents worth. Pat K

Someone at the rally mentioned to me putting a large rubber mat with ridges (like they use at a car repair place on the floor) under the mattress so it can breathe. No idea if this works or not but stuck in my head as something that sort of made sense. Anyone doing that
