I'm not sure how many Dreamers have dehumidifiers in their rigs but I just saw this recall in regard to "Gree" brand products. Gree dehumidifiers are branded under many names including - Danby, De’Longhi, Fedders, Fellini, Frigidaire, GE, Gree, Kenmore, Norpole, Premiere, Seabreeze, SoleusAir and SuperClima.
Mine aren't in the trailer but I have two that are on the list. Here is the link to the recall:
I was on hold for over 10 minutes and spoke with the CSR for another 10. End result - they send a return kit to the house to have the faulty units sent back to them and then issue a refund check. It'll be anywhere from 6-12 weeks before the check arrives from the time they are notified and the process starts.
Just wanted to give a heads up - these are causing fires - and we all know how well that goes in an RV.
