I looked up Weather Radio and saw some posts about it, but they were 3ish years or older. So I was wondering what you all use to keep track of, stay ahead of, and just montier the weather.
We have our Smaprt Phone which I know will not always work. And I can remember some vacations in the early 2000's that we were sitting in a rest area in between trucks listening to the regular radio talk about tornados north of us and south of us and we just did not know what to do but sit it out.
So with all the tragic weather happening across the country we are just looking for some ideas of how to stay as prepared as we can.
We are in Oregon now and will be for the next 5 weeks and the wether is finally turning to spring and it is georgeous here at Silver Falls State Park. We are on our 2 full day as official Full Timer's.
Stay safe my frienda!

Keep in mind your Cell phone is only as good as your signal and tower........Noaa Broadcasts are placed thru Self sustaining repeaters with more than one place and antenna....the radio's are cheap to purchase and simple to operate
mine is a survival type radio....it will run on battery , solar or Crank....it will charge my cellphone....provide a light...and a few other things
