Does anyone who sells at flea markets or street fairs that are outdoors require electricity and when it's not available (which it usually isn't), what do you do? Do you have a small, portable, quiet generator?

Cheryl.....I carry a small 2k watt generator for power at markets and shows that I need power away from the coach.....I also carry a 50' heavy duty power cord to either bring power from the coach generator system or move my small generator away from the booth area to keep it from annoying people near me.
I have never had a problem anywhere I set up.

Cheryl - it depends on how much power you need. We have a deep cycle marine battery that we use to run lights and keep the cell phone charged, etc.

Still haven't decided on that "perfect" product yet, but I'm toying with something heat press related (like t-shirts, mousepads, mugs, etc). That would require a computer, a printer and the heat press.

that would require a generator/inverter or shore power....

Thanks! That's me planning far in advance again! I really should focus my energies on the final purging of the house and how we're getting down to FL to buy the rig!

Some flea markets and fairs do have electricity for an extra price. Some also restrict use of generators.

I ran a cash register, PA sound system, two halogen lights and a fan by using two battery packs with built in inverters. Something like one of these www.xantrex.com/power-products/backup-power/xpower-powerpack-1500.aspx
I used two- one in the morning and the second in the afternoon.
You'll need to find one (or several) big enough to power the press all day.
A generator would be less expensive but may limit where you can sell depending on restrictions.
