I will continue to work my computer job from the road. I currently use 2 20" monitors side by side.
I am trying to figure out my work corner in the Montana 3402RL.. We are probably going to remove the kitchen table and chairs to make room.
But what to do with the monitors? My wife also has her apple desktop... So we actually have 3 monitors!
- Do you pack up your monitors when moving from location to location? Or are they anchored down in some way?
I've seen that some folks have built desks, and I could do that, but again, what to do with the monitor?
Are others using wall mounts? Are they strong enough to hold the jostling while traveling?
Or do most of you use laptops and just close them up?
Pictures of your setup would be very welcome! (I've seen the ones on Technomadia and gotten some ideas...)
Thanks!
Jeff

I use a Planar dual monitor stand. Works really well for me. I just place on the floor of the rig (under my work area) when I travel. Because of the placement, it doesn't move around at all.
As I said, "Works for me.". Usual disclaimers and opinions apply. Hope this helps some.

The 01zerosix idea looks viable. I would lay the monitors face down on foam when traveling. As for your wife I'd sell the desk top and get a 15" PowerBook. The PowerBook will do everything the desktop can do unless she us using one of Apple's awsome theater monitors.
Our FT dream starts in less than 2 months!!
