One issue I never thought I would have when we started this adventure was having enough time to read and reply to the various forums I'm on. Between RV Dreams, Escapee's, Carriage Lifestyle, Dodge Owners, IRV2, My Old RV, and the latest RVillage, and then the stupid FB and children sending texts, I'm outta time to do anything else! Then looking up places to visit, friends to see, routes to take, and then the favorite blogs to keep a check on.
Anyone else have these issues?

On another thread you said it best.... Priorities. Definitely feel your "pain". Don't forget to breathe, eat and sleep
I agree on the stupid FB. Never monitor it anymore, haven't got the time. Kids texts are hard to ignore, as for the rest.... 90% of the time I spend exploring things RV, I spend here. Elsewhere as needed only. Helps keep the sanity DW says I still spend too much time in RV research mode

Try doing all that and maintaining a full time virtual job and helping the husband with his art show business. Yep, I quit participating in all except 2 forums, this one and one for art fairs and that one only to figure out what art shows to try as we broaden our travel horizon. Quit following many, many blogs, I do keep up with FB but scroll through many posts that are just repostings of other people's thoughts, ideas, silly quotes/jokes, etc. I don't Tweet and I've been horribly lax in providing any feedback to sites like Trip Advisor or Yelp even though I find both sites very useful, I barely keep up with RVParkreviews.com and you know what? I've just had to say enough is enough.
If the weather is decent and it's been a long day at work, I'd rather sit outside at night enjoying the "campfire in a can", going for a walk or "gasp" having a social engagement, aka a life. Priorities!!! We chose this life to simplify and destress our travels, trying to maintain the feeling of freedom.

Been there. Have limited myself to viewing only 4 sites and only active on 2 of the 4. Life is so much easier. I was at first worried of the things that I would miss, but with will power, things are so much better.

Same here. Jo Ann and I have split up some of the computer stuff. She does FB, I don't. I do the forums and she participates once in a while. While I'm officially on several more, the only ones I regularly check are this one, Foreforums, and Escapees. Haven't checked in to IRV2 in probably a year. That new one, RVillage, might be more helpful in a few weeks, but right now we're still sitting in our own yard and no other RV'ers are around.
