Several months ago one of the topics on the forum was about replacing the vinyl topper covers on slideouts. Tough Tops Awning was recommended as an alternative to using the original manufactures replacement materials.
I called and talked to Ray and he proved to be a wealth of knowledge. I had no idea which model we had on our motorhome but after a brief description he told me what I had. I gave him my measurements and my credit card number and 5 days later I had my custom made vinyls ready to be installed. He sent along a very easy to follow description for self installation.
I recruited my wife as my helper and within a couple of hours we had installed a 127" x 59" vinyl on the bedroom slide and a 158" x 59" vinyl on the living room slide. Total cost including shipping was $337.00.
It was an easy project that any do-it-yourselfer can handle. Two people, two ladders, a few hand tools is all it takes.
They have a very good website with several videos of installation techniques to lead you through the process.
Nice! The slide toppers/window shades are a nice idea. Our last rig had the window awnings and we loved them. Maybe time to put them on this rig..

Russ,
As a moderator, I took the liberty to edit your post by making your last comment a link to the specific date of the entry. That way, if someone goes to check it out later, they don't have to go looking for the date, especially if they go to looking in a few weeks or months. All they have to do is click on the link and there they are.

Terry, Thanks for editing the link to my blog. I wish I was better at all things computer but sometimes it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks.
Some day when we meet-up I will need several hours of remedial tutoring.
This blog is a better place because of your efforts. Again thanks.
