Hello Everyone!!! We will be living in our TT full time starting in May while we build our home out on some property. We have yet to find the property so therefore we will be bunking up in a local RV park close by. We chose to do the camper vs building a small cabin and then the main house so that we can travel during and even after the build is finished. We raised our children camping and we now have 1 grandson and another on the way and want them to also to be able to enjoy the great outdoors around the country. We are building debt free so for us we chose not to buy a large $$$$ camper. We are choosing to have something nice and functionable as far as the TT and throw all our money onto the house, and grandbabies I am prepared for it to take us 2 years to build and then we can play more.. We are not retired and will not be for a while, but once we are I can definitely see us being at least 90% full timers with a larger trailer but yet keeping our home on the land for our boys and grandchildren to still be able to hunt on for generations and use as a get away for their families. Of course this is the plan......wish us luck.

We decided to go with a Heartland Trail Runner. It is 35ft with 2 super slideouts and all options that were available. This is not our dealer but is does show the pictures of the inside. Ours is exact to ours. http://www.mcgaughrv.com/inventory/263/trail-runner-32rlds.php the options listed on the last picture are not all of the options we chose. There are several other options we were able to choose. Being we are in Texas we chose to go up in size for the A/C, we also added a generator. The underside is enclosed & heated . I cant remember what else there was. We are completely aware that it is considered entry level but, for what our goal is we felt it was the right move for us. We have also heard down here in our area that Heartland has provided excellent customer service to individuals we have spoken with while at a RV show. Hopefully our choice was not wrong.....

We're sitting in Flatonia a little southeast of you doing the gate guard thing. Many folks are static fulltimers while they build, relocate, or waiting to sell.
