Just curious about this. So many class B models have couches that fold into very uncomfortable looking sofa beds. I know a must have for me will be a real, quality mattress. Does anyone know of any models that come with one, or can you steer me toward info on modifying a layout to accommodate one? Thatnks!

We looked at many Class Bs with my mother-in-law, since she thought they were what she wanted. None we saw had a normal mattress. There really isn't room. Class Bs are very tight inside, you might have to turn sideways to get around. A B+ is wider than a true Class B, really a small Class C, and some have slideouts and/or beds that are always beds.

Another option is to use an aero bed type mattress on the fold out couch. The aero beds are very comfortable and fold up nicely once the air is let out.

That's a great idea! I see where lots of folks also put memory foam over the couches or up in the over cab areas of rigs that have them. Anyone tried this?
The more I research the more I think I am really going to have to conquer my fear of driving something bigger and go with a small class C.
