Pam retired last Friday. The house appraiser was here yesterday (last thing to check off for the closing, hoping it comes in OK). One more load to haul off. Most of the big items sold on Facebook. Garage sale stuff is priced and ready for the weekend. Salvation Army is on stand by to pick up what's left.
Whew!! Ready for a break.
I think my ole buddy Mark will be OK since he just got a beautiful new 5th to get ready.

Thanks everyone. Looks like it might be a little smoother sailing......just about all the big stuff is gone, down to a couch and king size bed. We have a neighbor who has 2 garage sales a year and when we got down to the kitchen stuff and knick knats we told them if they would come pack it and take everything they could have it. They spent 2 days and were very grateful........and it's GONE!

Very exciting, we are at 16 days and counting. Barb retires on March 7th and we hit the road on the 9th. I took all my work clothes to Goodwill the other day, it was an awesome feeling!
Good luck and keep us abreast of your travels.

Good luck to you, Red. (Read: whatever). Now that the treller is sitting in front of the house the pain is different. (Treller, redneck for trailer). The effort now must go into prepping the tow vehicle. So, while you're out suffering through all that free time, I'll be slaving in the driveway building my dream machine.

Maybe I can stop by for a couple of weeks on my way to Alaska and give you a hand. Shoot by the time I leave, we'll have your house for sale and you can come with us. I'll bet I could talk you down at least 400 days. LOL

Red, seriously, you don't honestly think that's a challenge, do you? We are ready to go now. Except, the truck and the house mates. Alaska huh? That is the most severe case of nose rubbing to date!
