We were members for many years, but looking back, we really didn't use any of the benefits. If I had it to do over we would have never joined.

We used to be really involved in FMCA, working at the rallies, etc. Now we mostly read the magazine. In the past your membership came with a bare bones medical evacuation plan, now it costs extra . The premium for this voluntary plan option is $85 per year for a single person or $105 per year for a family, the vendor is Seven Corners. It is not as fancy as MASA or Skymed, but costs much less.

We joined FMCA as soon as we joined Motorcade, Foretravel's owners club, since Motorcade is a part if FMCA. We immediately used the Michelin tire program to replace four very old tires. We haven't taken part in any activities yet, but that will change this year.

Can you comment a bit more on how well the Michelin Tire Program went? I'd like to take advantage of that too.

That works well. You register your credit card with Michelin a couple of weeks before you make use of the program. You will then talk to a local dealer who will "order" the tires under a special code. Michelin will charge your credit card for the tires, and the dealer will charge you for the installation and any other work. You will save enough to pay for almost a year of membership for each tire. Car tires aren't included in the program.
How many on here are members of the Family Motor Coach Association?

All of the details are on the FMCA site.
