our lease is up at the end of may so until then we are getting rid of all the stuff one accumulates living in a two story house for 5 years… so much stuff!
the plan at first is to go to north carolina (his home state), and to pretty much stay parked most of the time… i'm going to get some local job or another, he is an over the road truck driver so we at least have one guaranteed income…
i'm so antsy to get her out of storage and start fixing her up, but i'm thankful she is safely stored, winterized, and has her batteries pulled into the office of the local rv storage facility. this winter is a real beast!
i'm nervous and excited to learn to drive her! timmy says she handles great so i'm glad of that!
ok that's my story so far… hello all, i'm very pleased to have found y'all!

Welcome, Suzanne.
You won't be the first here that operates and works while living full-time in their RV. Depending on your husband's place of employment, you may still get to move around some even when he is working. If you've not been lurking here for very long, you will find the folks here to have a lot of knowledge in their heads and are a good source of information.

Welcome to the forum. You're going to have lots of fun and learn so much! We see lots of older Bounders on the road and in parks so they must hold up well. Also saw the owner/CEO (?) of Bounder's house when we took a holiday lights boat tour of Huntington Harbor in the Balboa Island are of CA. Quite a multimillion $ mansion.

Welcome! What part of NC are you heading? We left there in November after 30sum years. It was nice being able to leave the beach at 8am and be in the mountains at 6pm!
