Yesterday we closed on a 2011 Winnebago Vista 35F and drove it 90 miles home.Everything went well at the dealers. It started out to be a miserable day, very cold, cloudy, windy and forecast for snow for the 90 mile trek south and back. We weren't looking forward to the walk through, because it's normally done outside. When we got there the dealer had the Vista inside where it was warm and cozy. When we were done and ready for the trip home the sun was out and it had warmed up some, though still windy. On the way home we stopped at a Love's and weighed the Vista empty, except for an almost full tank of gas thanks to the dealer. Next we stopped at a rest area and popped the cork on a bottle of champagne and had a couple of celebratory sips before re-corking and heading home. Getting the house on the market is next.

1-1/2 baths in a 35 footer. Interesting. It was smart for you to get it weighed.

Yippee! Congratulations. Also think the sun coming out is a good omen! Wish I had a bath and a half! 😄
Congrats~! That is very, very exciting - you now know how much stuff you can bring with you, lol. At least that's why we wanted ours first. Best of luck on you next step of your journey.

Thanks everybody!
Bill thanks for posting the link. It's very close to our rig. We have a drawer instead of an oven, and the previous owner added accessories.
We think having the motor home early will allow us to fill it and have a better sense of what to purge and what can go in storage.
