Does anyone use their SPLENDIDE washer on a regular basis? How do you like it?

Yes we do and we love it! We do 2-3 small loads a week. Start the machine don't worry about it till later that day.

We use our 2100XC (vented) all the time. My wife is doing the sheets today, two loads. We wore out a 2100 after 9 years of use and replaced it with a 2100XC in October. 6 to 7 loads a week, about a maximum of 4 loads per day, so it is not a good fit for someone who likes to do everything in one day. About 6 amps of 120volt to wash, about 12 amps to dry, 2.5 to 4 kwh of electricity usage and 12 to 20 gallons of water per load.

We have the 7100xc ventless. Works great but you just have to watch how much you put in to avoid long wash/ dry times and really wrinkled clothes. If we do again we would go with the vented model.

Anyone know the water consumption per average load? Do you wash when docked at a campsite? Ever use it boondocking? When ever we're at a camp site the wife uses theirs for a couple bucks.

Splendide's are picky about electricity, so your generator better be good if you want to run it without hookups. Some friend's wanted to run it while driving down the road, just to catch up, and found that their 7.5 kw Generac did not put out clean enough power for their Splendide. They switched to an Onan 8.0 kw and it worked fine.
My mother-in-law has allergy issues and only uses her Splendide or washes by hand.

I have the ARWXF129W washer and TVM63X dryer. I love them, only problem is I just broke the second belt. Both times drying small throw rugs, so won't do that any more. The thermostat also went out. Thermostat is easy to change, belt no so easy. The hard part is getting the sucker out of the closet. The door and part of the frame has to come off. I now keep the door open when I dry to help with air flow.

Ok so I am officially hooked on our Splendide. Lee has started putting the towels in to get them warm for me first thing in the morning and wow is that a bonus on a chilly morning. I'm sold!!

We have had the Splendide Artison Stacking washer and dryer for about a year now and love them. I haven't tried washing anything heavier than towels or sheets and usually keep my loads to a max of about 6 or 7 lbs. I'm definitely spoiled and I wouldn't want to be without them!

We have the Splendide stackables. LOVE THEM! And very quiet. No wrinkles here. We dry to a certain extent and then hang in the shower to finish drying. Turning on the fan in the shower helps.

We have the Splendide 2100XC vented washer/dryer combo and love, love, love it. It does take a little time to get used to it, and get a feel for how much to wash and what can go in with what, but once we got used to it, now would not want to live without it :)

I used a Splendide 2000 (much smaller drum than the newest models) for 4 years for all our laundry when we were living in our 5th wheel. The only time I used the park laundromat was to wash blankets or throw rugs. The only problem I had with the Splendide was with drying jeans; the legs were hopelessly wrinkled. I would wash jeans once a week and then dry them in the laundromat.
I would run a load or two everyday to stay on top of the laundry. I got used to running the wash cycle only, then shaking out larger items before starting the dry cycle. Since the machine does not have an end of cycle signal, I used a small magnetic timer that would let me know when the dry cycle was done. I found if I hung them up as soon as they were done there were much less wrinkles.
I bought "Wrinkle Free RV Laundry" a booklet available on Amazon, and it has some great recommendations for the perfect settings and load sizes as well as tips for wrinkle free results. If you are new to this type of machine, it's worth the $10 price for the booklet.
We are getting ready to once again live in the 5th wheel full-time and travel so I am getting a Splendide 2100 XC and I look forward to using it.

To help reduce wrinkles, DW stop the dry cycle about 1/2 way through, removes the items she is concerned with wrinkling, folds them and return them to the load. Believe it or not, this tip really works on the Splendide 2100XC. She also uses liquid fabric softener on every load as it is supposed to help the clothes release from the drum during the dry cycle. She loves our one piece unit and would not have anything else since with most loads she can set the wash and dry cycle and walk away.
