No kidding !!! If it weren't for that little calendar thing in the lower right hand corner of this laptop....the day and time would be a mystery most days !!!

OK, careful on the nose rubbing!!! Not everyone is retired but some of us are fortunate enough to have started this FT RV life while still working full time. Love being able to work from whereever the rig is parked but I do kind of have to know which day it is, what time it is, etc., etc. However, Monday's a holiday so another chance to try to finish touring the Arizona Desert Sonoran Museum outside of Tucson, visited there in December and we just didn't get through the entire place in one day.

There are two bird free flight shows at the Museum, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. See them both since they use different birds, so the experience is also different.

I have no trouble, I wake up in my house every day. I do have to remember if we are on 30AMP, 50AMP, driveway camped (20AMP or less) or boondocking, since these affect what gets turned on or off when I get up.

When we hit the road and we first asked what day it was we figured we had FINALLY achieved the ultimate goal. And then one morning I reached the,,,, laying in bed trying to figure out just where the heck we were moment and realized we had achieved a entirely different level!! I wonder what's next??

Perhaps this whole "Saturday Problem" is because we retired people are just that much closer to Alzheimer's than we care to admit. Think of the movie "Groundhogs Day" and apply an RV.

When we got a Days of the Week clock as a retirement gift I thought it was cute, but didn't realize how much we would use it, especially to remind us of when Sat/Sun roll around and lots of people will be out and about. Those are our stay home days!

Days of the week clock... I gotta have one of them.
Here is a working link, http://www.coastaltideclocks.com/ . Amazon also has a bunch, plus "Whatever" clocks where all the numbers are in a jumble.

Red, with all those penalty yards, you'll have to resist the urge to throw a "Hail Mary" pass on your first set of "downs" come March or whenever your game kicks off.

The ultimate occurs when you wake up and ask: "Where am I?"
The answer is: "It doesn't really matter, it is going to be a great day anyways."

I have worked 23 days straight so far and not an end in sight for a day off...since I work midnights I have lost all track of days and I have now found myself looking into the fridge and say, "what in the heck did I just open this for?!" I have 3 loads of laundry staring me in the face and seriously considering dropping it off at the laundry mat for them to do but I would be afraid they would starch my bra and underware. LOL

Mike says, "-13 degrees....why....why....why"
I say, "a chilly 72 as I sit outside eating my breakfast....84 this afternoon"
I know, here comes a 15 yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.....I'm man enough to live with the shame, so long as it's sunny outside.
Sorry

Can I just say we are really enjoying what Arizonans call "winter"? We may have to know what day of the week it is, even have to know what time it is M-F for work and definitely keep track on art show weekends, but yeah, when it's 5 PM and we're riding our bicycles thru the campground in shorts and tank tops, admiring the views, does it really matter what time it is????
This life on the road is good, despite working FT, we've ridden our bikes, hiked more miles, had more sunny days, "played tourist" in botanical gardens, museums, etc., enjoyed more campfires, etc, etc, in 6 months on the road than we've had over the past 3 years in our S&B.
So, yeah, when I wake up and wonder if it's a workday or weekend, life on the road is still GOOD!!
...and think, ""where am I?"
Happens to me!
