Went to the VA for an EKG for 8:00 AM. Guess I thought I was back in the military as awoke at 4:30 AM; left at 7:15 am. I then waited until 9:00 am to speak with the Cardiologist. He said the EKG hadn't changed since July 2013. The way it looks my health will not change to much; unless it gets worse; I have to be the one respnsible for my diet (TOUGH); medications and exercise (easier).
I then went up and had my breathing test (Pulmonary), did not realize how exerting this can be. have to wait about 7 days for the results!
I will remain positive and keep trying to remain positive and upbeat as I am told staying healthy requires a good attitude. I just thank the good Lord that I am not bed ridden or in a wheelchair!!!

Well, not much change is better than worse so that's still acceptable news. And, with the diet, you need to get TOUGH and I am sure it is difficult. My father had a heart attack when he was 48 years old and we all got to eat the same foods as he did, I remember it was bland, major! Hopefully there will be good news on the breathing test.
I do believe that part of staying healthy has to do with one's attitude. I think when the mind gives up, the body tends to follow. And, you are still able to appreciate that things could be worse so maybe that will help your frame of mind. I know it has to be hard but miracles still happen so you just never want to give up your dreams. Hang in there!

You, Pieere, are very much like Lucky Mike, who gives us all inspiration with your continued positive attitude despite all the health challenges you face. Prayers are with you that you continue to have a great outlook and continue to get better.

Here's hoping for the best. You didn't feel too military or it would have been 0800, 0430, 0715 and 0900.

I had a heart attack in '06 and my husband had a lung removed last year so we've had to make some changes, particularly in the not-so-healthy food area. He's still a meat and potatoes man but now adds some fruit and veggies. We are so used to our low salt, low fat food we don't even miss it any more. You and Lucky Mike have the best medicine already built in - a healthy attitude towards life and it's up and downs. We all wish you the best.

“Breathe. All of the times you felt this anxious and this overwhelmed. All of the times you felt this level of pain. And remind yourself how each time, you made it through. Life has thrown so much at you, and despite how difficult things have been, you’ve survived. Breathe and trust that you can survive this too. Trust that this struggle is part of the process. And trust that as long as you don’t give up and keep pushing forward, no matter how hopeless things seem, you will make it.”

You have to stay Strong Because only you have control of your journey...............Stand strong , there is always a path and a challenge that seems to go up-hill but your dreams and strength will carry you to the top to see the view & beauty of what you Seek!!
The old saying of " When there is a Will....There is a Way" is so true!!!
When I feel like quitting , I look back at all the life changing events that they have thrown at me and ask why I survived. Then I look out at the world and set a goal , Look out the windshield and know that I need to get there Because its for me and my Nikki!!.........I refuse to play by static rules and only I control the True moments and happiness in this life.
There is always an answer and a way!!!!!
In the end of my RV journey all I ask is to Return to the day of my childhood , be able to lay in the field and look up at the clouds and see the shapes that began this road trip and Feel the serenity that came at that moment!!

Hang in there, Ed. You have to know that a lot of the folks here at RV Dreams are "pulling" for you, just as you've "pulled" for some of us.

I'm sure I speak for the entire "family" here - our prayers are with you that you feel better quickly, they find whatever is causing the problems soon, and that it is nothing to worry about and easy to cure. Do you still have your gall bladder?

Hang in there, Ed. I think the hardest part is "not knowing" and that tends to make us worry the most.
You know that most of us here are pulling for you. Prayers coming your way, and have a great Memorial Day. Thanks for your service.

As Always, Would like to thank every one for thier sharing and caring! Haven't had any problem so far over the weekend; guess I have to kind of chill; make sure I don't over exert myself and pray it is nothing serious. Have an appt on the 2nd of June with the PD; hope he can sort it out.
Also will start some physicla theraphy on my right shoulder and neck; they found degeneration of the C-3 to C-7 discs. Have to see how that goes.
I then went up and had my breathing test (Pulmonary), did not realize how exerting this can be. have to wait about 7 days for the results!
