We are Rich and Nina. We are picking up our rig on Tuesday. We are new to workamping and are seeking positions at federal or state locations. We are both friendly, outgoing people with positive attitudes and great communication skills. We both have a great work ethic and are self motivated.
Rich is a former Marine and retired Corrections Officer. Rich also volunteers for the Red Cross Disaster Relief , has acted as Assistant Director of Safety and Security during Hurricane Katrina at The Cajun Dome. Rich was also involved in The Jaycees; attended and organized several professional functions. His most recent venture was in car sales where in less than 2 years he achieved Top Salesman. Nina is an RN with 10 years of ICU and Hospice experience in both the hospital and home settings. Nina also received her Gold Award in Girl Scouting for organizing a town wide clean-up. She served on The Board of Directors for Child Inc DayCare and also served on the Student Nurse Organization in the role of Secretary. Nina currently has ventures in network marketing. She also has retail, waitressing and secretarial experience. We both enjoy working with people and look forward to the many adventures ahead of us. We are both quick learners and are open minded to most positions.
We both enjoy the outdoors and Rich is an avid golfer. Having owned our own homes Rich is handy with simple home maintenance and repairs. Living on 2+ acres also gave us experience in lawn and yard maintenance. We both have camping experience and enjoy exploring nature.

Your resume sounds great.
When applying, don't get discouraged if you don't hear back. Response vs application, in our experience, is about 1 response to 10 applications.
Make sure you understand exactly what the job entails. Don't assume anything to avoid disappointment.

I agree with "Dog Folks" you will put out alot of feelers , I also would suggest being pro-active. if your in a park you like....Ask....even if they are not looking at this time your one step ahead for the next round of applicants.
I have not workamped in a while but....collect up and search for all the forums that offer workamping and use them all.
There are members on here that I hope will jump in with lists of sites that advertise jobs or allow you to post work wanted.
I like a few others now work from the coach or at shows and rallys to keep an income stream going
Good luck on your venture and keep us posted!!!

Welcome Rich and Nina,
Guessing you're looking for tips on how to find workamping jobs? Last year someone posted on the forum the advice to list your physical activities on your resume such as biking, kayaking, hiking, etc. it was a great suggestion as it gives employers an idea of your physical fitness. You would be surprised how often someone shows up using a cane for a job such as maintenance. Bless those that must use a cane but employers want workers who can work safely and efficiently if not quickly. Mention computer skills if you have them.
In the blue bar at the top of this forum click the search button and type workcamp and you'll find lots of prior threads that lists sites to find work. Don't hesitate to call and speak to the manager.
If you're going to be in the far west or southwest I can tell you of three places that are hiring if you PM me.

The other advice on here is good.
