Wishing you the best of luck for a quick sale. Where did all the stuff come from? Well, couldn't be from our house because we seem to have more than enough ourselves! Funny thing is, you look at a lot of the stuff you bought and wonder "Why"?

Red,
How exciting for you! We hope to be listed by early March!
I agree - so much stuff! UGH! I have started purging closets, etc., but our biggest hurdle will be the garage! Realtor said list it anyway when we are ready and just do what we can as we can. I think Bill is going to have to take a few days off work for that! I have to touch up paint (trying to wait til a warm enough to open windows for a little bit kind of day - not happening anytime soon here in the NE!) and a few other small things to do, nothing too big.
Hope you sell quickly with no issues, I actually wish that for all of us!
See you on the road!

Yay Red!!! How exciting!
Fixing up is almost finished now; maybe another day or 2 for the finishing touches. Then it's up to us to finish purging. We've already almost filled up one dumpster and will need to have it emptied and returned! SO MUCH STUFF!!!
So our Class of '14 so far is you (el Rojo), Debbie & Steve, and Bill & Kelly. When we all hit the road this year, we'll all have meet up and pop the cork on the celebratory champagne!

Thanks again everybody. Good idea Cheryl, we should have a G2G! Cindi welcome to the class of '14. Something tells me this will be a big group. We need to prod our ole' buddy MarkS to join us, tell that boss of yours you want that last paycheck sooner than later.
I am so there for the champagne! IF all our houses are sold by rally - wouldn't that be the best!? It would become one hell of a partying week! Count Bill and I in for sure! (even if all our houses aren't sold - we could celebrate early - you know - fake it til we make it!)

Good luck with the sale. Hope yours goes like ours, it sold in 14 days after 17 showings, it never got advertised before it was sold.
I don't miss my "Stuff" one bit. I am no longer manly....I have no table saw, cop saw or my big red tool box. I can live with the shame just so long as I don't have to work anymore. Good bye tools, lawn mower, edger, leaf blower and shovels. Be gone rakes. Good bye tall ladders (it really hurts when you fall off them).
Come to think of it I haven't even thought of that junk in the last six months. I must be a fully recovered ex-worker.

Will be instructing the realtor we want the closing by the end of June. Coach will be bought in May or June and we hit the road the first part of July. Won't be able to make the Rally, though. Red,in 2008 we put our first home up for sale absolutely no takers. Rented it out all these years to our son, listed it on December 13,2013. Packed up RV and left on Monday (16) realtor called as we were leaving with 2 contracts on house! We did take the one that was a little less offer, no inspection all cash. Closed December 30. This house was in Garland suburb of Dallas Texas.
