If you're unfamiliar with it, this is the plan that costs $69.99/month for 20GB of data on the Verizon network. We rely on it ourselves to keep connected as we travel, recommend it often and get lots of questions about it. So, we wrote a guide to it.
From understanding the soft data cap, costs, suspension policies, no-contract, tracking usage, working around the buggy 4620 hotspot device and managing your data usage.

This is great information. Thanks for sharing! I will certainly be buying your book when we're ready to hit the road. We currently have an old grandfathered truly unlimited data plan with AT&T, but that's all. Since my new business requires being online often, obviously I'll need a lot more than that.

Just a quick update to this post, we've been testing out the new Pantech MHS291L Mifi hotspot device that Millenicom is now shipping with this plan.
Thanks for the information. Our contract with Verizon is up in July of this year and will certainly be making changes. We have grown to the 10gb plan with Verizon and could very easily need the 12gb if we are not in campgrounds with wifi.

Does anyone know if Millenicom allows separate accounts for one family unit? With my virtual job and Dale's separate business we keep getting close to the cap. We need to spend some time doing a major update to his website which will take quite a bit of data.
I'd like to have 2 hotspots, one for me and one for his biz, but I thought I remembered when we first signed up it was limited to 1 per household but couldn't find that on their website.
Thanks

I guess one in each of your names or one in a business name would cure it........besides , you sold your "household" and it doesnt say anything in the paper work about "Full time RVer's"!!!!

Yes... Millenicom does allow you to have multiple plans, even in the same name. In fact, if you go over your cap, that's what they offer you as a solution. (This is covered in the 'Survival Guide' I originally linked to.)

Chris & Cherie,
Thanks for the post updating all about Millenicom Plan and new device. We have had the plan for a year now, and works for us. One of the best features was "No Contract". This allowed us to suspend the plan for three months last fall while working at Amazon-Coffeyville. We were in a RV Park and hooked up with the cable company to provide cable (for college football season!) & internet data package.
When we left Kansas, we just re-activated the account!
Did notice that their website has not allowed member log-ins recently due to site maintenance...as I monitor usage closely, I was back to sending them an email for updates.
We purchased your book as well ! And we have the Phone Coverage App.
Your information has made our travel dream possible! Thanks!

We love our Pantech and the Millenicom plan. We were always having to raise our data limit on Verizon with our Miifi so pushed that back to the very minimum on our family share plan so we could still have some data as needed on our phones and added the Pantech.
For the first week or so since we had it, it seemed to slow way down if we were both on it but that appears to have gone away. Not sue what that was about. Also, we've had a couple of incidences where it appeared to be on but none of our devices were picking up the signal. A simple turning it off then turning back on seemed to resolve that issue.Wwe're still trying to get our PepWave set up to integrate with it but haven't figured that out yet.

Thanks Chris & Cherie - after buying your book and reading your updates, we purchased the new Pantech wifi from Millenicom and are thrilled with it. it screams compared to using our tablet or phone on the 4GLTE VZW network. We can both be online at the same time, don't have to watch our data useage (yet!) and dropped enough of our VZW data plan to cover the cost of the MIllenicom plan. It's been a month tomorrow, and we couldn't be happier.
Loaned it to a friend last night so they could check it out, and they ordered 1 for themselves this morning :)
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences with this great option for those of us who need dependable internet as we travel.
