Well I did it and I'm happy, I had it inspected at an RV shop not far from where I bought it. They only found a few small things that needed to be fixed like the Smoke detector needing a new battery among a few others. It is a 1998 Fleetwood Flair 26ft with 19500 miles. I drove it home (170 miles) and it had lots of power and and did well, it has a chevy 454, but I don't know what kind of transmission...I know I should have looked into it. Now that I own it, I was wondering if anyone would know if it might be an Allyson Trans., or how I can check on it.
Thank in advance for any help,
Roger

Congratulations! I think you'll like it. If I remember right, it has a lot of storage for its size and I still see plenty of them on the road and for sale from time to time. I'll always remember the one we looked at because it was the prettiest color of a light green. Enjoy!

Thanks SnowGypsy, I am taking it to an RV shop to have things checked out ( even though it had a pre-purchase inspection) and serviced.
