Any suggestions? It worked just fine in Mesa AZ, we had upgraded to WiFi Go back in July and have had absolutely no problems as we've traveled for the past 5 months. Last week we moved the RV from Mesa to Tucson AZ, couldn't get any of our devices to connect and could not get to the WiFi Control panel on our laptops. Had lots of other issues with that RV Park and their Tengo Internet so thought it might just be a location issue.
Today we moved againt to an area outside of Tucson and still can't get WiFi Ranger to work at all. Our hotspot and JetPack are working fine as are our cell phones, we just can't get WiFi Ranger to respond at all.
Any suggestions?

Ruth,
Depending upon where you bought it the tech support at the company might be helpful. We've found 3G/4G store tech support very helpful.

What are the symptoms when you try to connect? Can you see the wifi connection to the WFR at all? Does your laptop/tablet/phone get an IP when you connect to the WFR's wifi? Can you connect to the WFR Control Panel? What firmware version is the WFR running? Did you update it recently or is it the same version that worked previously? Drop me an email to neil@laubenthal.net with the answers and I may have a couple of suggestions for you.
Alternatively you can get in touch with the WFR tech support folks at wifiranger.com and they'll give you some support.

I’ve sort of hesitated to make this post hoping you would find the answer by now.But as you have not I’ll let you know of our experience.Hopefully it isn’t yours.
These “home quality” WiFi Routers have a tendency to last about 2 years or so.I’m not saying some haven’t had them last 5 years. But ours, we have more than one, tend to give up at about 2 years. It has to do with the quality of the components and the internal heat factor some of those components must endure according to our son who does this for a living and has an electrical engineering degree in computer engineering.(Yea, very proud of him.He writes those $49 “How To” computer programming books professionally.) The more you use them the fewer months they tend to work.
Having used these in both business and personal environments that’s been our experience.Naturally YMMV

Hi all, sorry, due to work and a few other things, I've not been on the forum much the last 2 days. We did get in touch with WFR and over the course of 4 emails, they gave us several suggestions, and finally a combination of them worked. Their first few suggestions did not resolve our issue so we ended up resetting to factory settings, then we had to tell every device we have (Laptops, cell phone, kindles, etc) to delete the WiFi Ranger network and set it up again.
Everything is back to working the way it used to and I've been getting caught up on work.
Bill & Linda - I pretty much assume almost any piece of technology is good for about 2 years, just the way things seem to go. Part of our frustration was that we had upgraded to the WiFi Go in July so we've only had it for about 6 months. However, we still have our old WiFi Mobile router and we couldn't get it to work either.
