Well it is Winter.... we are scheduled for our third snow storm in about a week. My name is Ray and my wife is Daisy. We have been full-timers for the last 11 years although we haven't moved much. Daisy is a legal secretary and I am retired military, retired Database Admin and soon to be retired period. I also own Camping Embroidery which is a promotional products franchise specializing in the camping industry. (Quick pitch.. if you need anything at all that you want to put your name or logo on, please let me help. I have over 750,000 products that can be customized for your needs, end of pitch).
We currently live in a 2007 Safari Simba Class A. Recently moved out of our fifth-wheel and let our daughter move into it. Beginning in July 2014 we will be on the road for a few years. Our plan is to follow the warmer weather and see as much of the country as possible. Our bucket list is about 150 locations. First trip in July will be to get our SD drivers licenses and to see SD.
We have two dogs, Princes and Misty (****-zu and Pekingese). Kids are all grown and are also campers. It is their fault that we have purchased the class a. We have been camping (vacations etc) in tents, then a popup for years. They kept telling us to upgrade. So, last year we purchased a travel trailer and traded in the popup. Well the bug hit and we started talking about taking it on the road (remember we live full-time in a fifth-wheel, the popup/travel trailer are for camping). Next thing I knew we were bidding on a class a sight unseen. Picked it up in September and moved into it full time just last week.
Hobby wise, I love to cook, read, metal detect and write. I own a few websites including one of the Internets largest recipe websites (over 360,000 recipes, www.theweekendchef.com). Someday I hope to make a little bit of money somehow with it :). For now it is a hobby.
Daisy likes to read and play on the computer. She also does a little metal detecting as well.
Hope to see you on the road.

Welcome, Ray and Daisy.
First of all, thanks for your service and for Daisy's sacrifices as well. A lot of vets here that appreciate the service of everyone.
As you may have noticed, I activated your one link in the body of your introductory post. I would also mention that we have a classified area where you could put information and links to Camping Embroidery, and a blog area for your blog.
We all will look forward to your comments because with as many years experience that you have full-timing, we can all learn from you.
Glad to have you as part of the family.

Hey Ray & Daisy,
Welcome to the site and we also thank you for your service. DH is retired Navy and we're currently staying in a military campground. I love going to the laundry here (free!) and learning about what other military campgrounds are must sees!
