First of all; let me say I'm thankful for opening my eyes every morning and being able to stand on my feet! For the RV Dreams Forum friends who listen to my health problems and what ever else. Grateful for the finances for food; shelter; rent; and utilities to heat my RV in this early cold weather. Did I mention the old 88' RV and finally a used 13+ Yr. old Ranger truck; so I don't have to impose on others for DR. appts. and grocery shopping.
Some time I forget how important the limited things are that I take for granted. I can't forget to be thankful for my prayers being answered and the humility to refrain from asking for too much! LOL! Just might get more than I can handle!!
This about says it for me! How about you! PIEERE

I am grateful that all my husbands years of frugal living will allow us to live the RV lifestyle! (notice I didn't say MY years of frugal living - ha!)
I could go on and on (and on) but that really sums it up nicely!

Very much the same as expressed by everyone above. But, I'll add a couple of things, one of which Mike just touched on. (EDIT: I don't know what happened here. The post from Lucky Mike that now follows a bit down the page was actually before me in the "line" of discussion here. Maybe we've got gremlins. Anyway, my comment on what "Mike just touched on" now seems out of whack because his post now follows instead of leading.)
Years ago, I was listening to the Glenn Beck radio show. Glenn has a daughter with special needs and one of her comments to her father was a reference to her "family of the heart." When Glenn asked her about that, she explained that her immediate and extended family was considered her "family of blood," but that all the people that she had met and come to know were her "family of the heart." While we can't always grow new members of the "family of blood," by continuing life and being appreciative of everyone can really grow the "family of the heart."
I'm so glad to say that the forum participants here are a big part of my "family of the heart."
Second, I'm thankful for my "limited" abilities with photography and that I can take and share part of what I see and share that with others in the form of photographic images. I tell everyone that I get to see God every day by seeing what He created.
Thank you all for being a part of this wonderful group.
Terry

Very thankful for a husband who still loves me after all these years and 3 beautiful girls who support my choice to get out of line and go on a grand adventure. I am very thankful that we live in a country with a wonderful parks system and the space to adventure for many years to come. I am also really grateful to have found such a great good of folks here who are similarly inspired and so incredibly supportive.

I'm thankful for so many things. Often, I get off track sort of whining about any one of a number of "bumps" in my life and there are those couple of times where those "bumps" knocked me off my feet but I always count my blessings and get up and carry on. The biggest blessing of my life for which I am forever thankful is my faith in God which has gotten me through thick and thin. Now that it is so cold at night, each night when I let out/in my dogs for the last time before bed, I am thankful that I have a warm place to sleep as I think about those that are homeless. So many little things to be thankful for in these hard economic times. Happy Thanksgiving To All!

I, too, am thankful for family and friends. I'm thankful to be living the full-time RV lifestyle. I'm thankful to be spending Thanksgiving with my parents for the first time in 33 years! Due to the places we lived and/or Kev's work schedule we've never been able to do that, but now he's retired and we are in FL and so are my folks, so we're at their place for Thanksgiving! Yay!! And I'll add that I'm thankful to be in FL where it isn't cold!! THIS IS THE LIFE!!!!

I am thankful that my husband survived a very aggressive cancer and that, though he lost one lung and had arythmia for a while, he has recovered most of his strength. We have had several "bumps" too but we've never given up and look forward to spending the rest of our lives together. Every day is a blessing and our cats are a daily reminder that life is worth living.
I am also thankful that I found this wonderful group of people who are so supportive of each other. The positive energy generated here is beyond compare. Thank you all, may we all be together to celebrate in spirit again next year.

I am thankful for the abundance of life, if you are only so bold as to claim it.
More specifically - I am thankful for having survived... no thrived... through a very tough year of losing my father to lung cancer, ending the business we ran together (and my major income source), a major breakdown requiring a 7-week engine rebuild... and for having passed the milestone of turning 40 with grace in the midst of it all.
More importantly, I am thankful for all the friends, loved ones and community who supported me through it all.

I am so thankful for My God, my wife and family, and being allowed to live this lifestyle. Many have said that this lifestyle is not for everyone and that is true. But for many of us it is the best thing this side of heaven.
Another imperfect thing: This country. Imperfect, yes, but still the FINEST in the world. I’m thankful that I was born here, got to visit two thirds of it, so far, and will die here.
I am thankful that my wife and I are truly content with what we have. No more keeping up with the Jones.

We are thankful for our health and being able to start our full time lifestyle in our mid fifties. We are thankful for family and friends, old and new. We are thankful for all of the places we have seen and experienced in North America in our 3 1/2 years on the road.
And as Canadians we celebrate our Thanksgiving in October, so we are thankful that we get to celebrate a second Thanksgiving with our American friends.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

This might sound odd but, I'm thankful for a bad tooth. Somebody at work told me that getting a day off is like pulling teeth. I took them literally and Tuesday had a tooth pulled so I would have an excuse not to work until next Monday. OK, I came up with the plan in hindsight but the story is so much better told that way rather than what really happened.
We are blessed. A beautiful home, a wonderful family, reasonably good health, a steady income. All of this because we have the freedom and liberty to make choices for ourselves. Too many times I am guilty of overlooking my blessings because a plan didn't work out quite like I expected. It takes a day like this to reflect on what we have that so many don't. The lyrics to a song by Sheryl Crow say it's more important to like the things you have than to have the things you like. Those words resonate, particularly in our materialistic society. As fulltime RVers, we don't always have the room for all of things we want, so we focus more on the things we need, only to find out we really didn't want the things we thought we did. Does that make us better than the rest of society? I'll let you draw your own conclusion.
We are also blessed that we have found each other. People with similar interests and concerns where we can share our collective knowledge. We all come together on this Thanksgiving knowing that, even though many of us have never met face to face, we have a support group that can help us through the tough times and enjoy the good times together. God bless you all.

Everyone else already expressed my sentiments, probably a little better than I could. Also grateful for having this wonderful Dreamer family (or as Mike and Terry said - Family of the Heart). Grateful for my health and for God's abundant protection, despite all the bumps.

Cheryl; I would think them were "Happy Tears"; I get them every now and then. Mark S.; I can relate to the tooth pulling; Had 2 removed yesterday; the most miserable experience I ever had because of infection; and this Surgeon was gentle. It was easier having the stents put in my heart arteries. Vanmar; If it wasn't for God; I'd be history. Believe this is why He kept me here; to go on an on about my dilemmas on this Forum; LOL! Snowgypsy: If it wasn't for this Campground Owner; and he don't accept praise well; as he is a humble man; I probably would have been one of the homeless. I'm Blessed! He got me affiliated with the local American Legion; Disabled Am. Vets; VA Hospital and local organizations; until I was able to get back on my own footing. The only thing I could give back at the time is cleaning the Campground Facilities and pick up the trash on the grounds and he thanks me; which means more than any Monies! Many cats; One for me is enough; LOL! I will keep your husband and you in my prayers that he recovers well! I watch the actions of many animals; the cat taking a bath after meals; the squirrels burying their winter hoard of food; the birds taking care of their young and even the Widow Spider; LOL! Have to keep the sense of humor; when all else fails; sit down and have a good belly laugh! LM: Life; Oh; how we know how precious it can be! May the Good Lord keep following by your side in your adventures!
Too all the rest; I can't say Thanks enough for bending your heads to listen! Chow!
Terry & Jo: What more can I say; Thank you for helping keep this forum the Best; and of course; your support!
