Hi, I was outside today and saw my old class c motorhome and it occurred to me that I might get some salvage use out of it. I use it as a guest house now[everything works] but it was a top of the line with full winter package in its day. I saw it had the maxi vent covers on it so I took those off and will be putting it on my new [to me] smaller class c. My new one has NOTHING but a new motor so I was wondering what other parts should I salvage? The old one never had any real problems so I don't know what would be good parts for this new motorhome. [different size and make] obviously I won't be carrying around a whole a/c unit but is their little things that are good to have extra of? Thanks.....Deb

Look on EBay, do a search RV parts etc.....most everything is salvageable if you have the time and patience to deal with it. I recently purchased on EBay 2 outside compartment doors......

Thanks for replying Gene, I do not want to sell the parts I was just wondering what to keep to take with me that I might need on the new mh. other than bulbs is there things that consistently need replacement and are worth lugging around just in case?.....Thanks.....Deb

Just keep in mind that anything you take as a "replacement part" will reduce the amount of cargo carrying weight that you will have for your new RV.
