I purchased a used 115gal "dually depot" fuel tank, I called dually depot and asked if they could send me a install manual or help me in installing it, They politely said "we do not give out any info on installing our tank" I asked then what do I do? They replied "either come here and we install it or find someone who can." I am able to fasten the tank no problem, my issue is the hoses there are 2 large and a small hose that goes to a external fuel filter. and 2 wires that I am (I'm always wrong when I assume) assuming are the internal pump
I have done some reading where guys run a hose to the fill tube (goose neck) on the trucks tank and when the main tank draws down they turn on the bed tank pump to refill the main and only fill the bed tank when fueling.
Thank you kindly for any info you might have, I can send pics if need be to show you the top of the tank and hoses.

I have installed external tanks, sounds like a self fueling tank,.. If so you will need to tie it into
Your fuel sensor. Is this what you have? They are easy to install.

not familiar with that brand but I had an extra tank in the back of my pick up. Mine was a saddle tank taken off a truck that was being "recycled". I hooked it up to flow into my on board fuel tank by piping it to a separate low flow fuel pump mounted under the bed and then from there into the filler neck on the truck. The tank had a place to hook up two wires from a fuel gauge but no internal pump. Could the wires for yours be for a gauge also and not a pump?

Can't help you at all with your technical questions but please be aware that we purchased a low mileage 2005 GMC Dually Dynamax (whatever that all means even if I have it in tThe right order) that had an auxillary fuel tank installed but it turns out the installer drilled right into the fuel tank below. Those fuel tanks are plastic, mounted right under the bed and had to be replaced at $1,000.00.
Just FYI.

If you search for "installing dually depot aux fuel tank" you can get quite a bit of information. It looks like it's an external pump and filter setup with a fitting that goes between your filler neck and the tank on the truck. Good luck.
