I recently watched "A Long Way Round" and "A Long Way Down". These are documentaries of two trips on Motorcycles taken by Ewan MacGregor (Obi Wan in recent Star Wars Movies) and his actor buddy Charlie Boorman.
In the "Round" they travel crosscountry from London to New York 120,000 miles through Europe, Russia, Mongolia and over to Alaska down through Canada and east through the US to New York.
"Down" was a 3 month trip from the tip of Scotland, through Europe and Africa to the tip of South Africa.
Both trips were fun to watch and to see the folks they met along the way, sights they saw, plus all of the road conditions, weather and breakdowns they had to contend with.
Both movies are in hour long episodes for a total of about 10 hours per movie.
There is some bad language and a little National Geographic type nudity.
Now I want to take a 3 month trip around North America in the 5th wheel.
