We've spent many many evenings gathered at the 180. It's the private area of the
campground where we are camphosts -- the "locals" hangout where campfires are
welcoming and conversations are genuine. (named the 180 because it's the mile
marker on the river)
Come November, we're leaving this beautiful place to hit the road on a never-ending
roadtrip. Our friends from the 180 are saddened, and we are only because we'll
miss sharing the laughs and boat rides and stories around the campfire.
But - we have decided there are going to be more "180's" out there - and that is
our plan ... to find the 180 wherever we travel.
Just wondering - have you found some 180's on your travels?
Share your stories - I love hearing about fulltimers connecting with
the locals and enriching their experiences.
