Argh! Help!! I've been getting along just fine in the TT, the temp doesn't bother me, but this morning the humidity is through the roof! I really don't want to run the a/c if at all possible since I'm plugged in to a 20 amp outlet with a 100 foot extension cord. I'm wondering if there are any recommendations for a SMALL dehumidifier(both small in size and in energy consumption) to help get some of the moisture out of the air so I don't have to wring it out before I breath it to avoid drowning! LOL

That's what an A/C does............Pulls out the humidity. You should be able to run one A/C if don't run anything else at all.
A dehumidifier would also create a lot of heat inside while running.

Be very careful, you very well melt the extension cord and could possibly start a fire. A 20amp circuit is marginal and then the 100 ft. extension cord puts it beyond marginal and into the dangerous category.

Yes the "100 ft" cord I wouldn't like to do. When I run mine on a 15 amp circuit..........I will run 1 A/C but nothing else at all. I will run as short of a cord as possible (usually 25') and it's a HEAVY gauge not light.

Yes even the 30 amp (25') cord with the 30 to 15 adapter works for me to run (1) one A/C.

We have 2 of these and they work great....low voltage and quiet.....amazingly removes a lot of water....
I think they are right on the ac's acting as a dehumidifiers..
Well that's what an A/C does..................................Pulls humidity out of the room, area or building. The more the evaporator drips water that means it's pulling lots of humidity out of the air.

Please note that we only use our Eva drys in the winter when our windows are close and heat is on....spring and fall we open windows...summer we use the a/c.
