I am one of those newbie’s that is coming up to “Full Time RVING “ and like most I have a ton of questions.
I go by the handle “Idaho TaterBug”, Helen and I where born and raised here in Idaho.
For fun on our days off we like to get in the pickup and find a road and go till it ends and see what is out there. Living around Boise there are lots of roads to explore.
We both think that Full Timing would really suit us. I hate to say it but I am 61 and have only seen 4 states other then the one I live in
We have been thinking about a Motorhome because the Helen does not want a 5th wheel. I have showed her both around Boise but she wants a Motorhome.
We seem to keep coming back to the Tiffin Allegro 40 QBP bath and a half model. I don’t know why we need a bath and a half but Helen likes it and after 36 yrs I am not about to rock the boat.
Is there anyone on this forum that can give me their likes and dislike about the Tiffin Allegro 40 QBP?
Thank you
Paul “Idaho Taterbug”

Paul and Helen,
Welcome to the RV Dreams forums. If you've been reading much, you probably already know this, but these forums have a lot of folks with a lot of knowledge to share. So, feel free to ask questions as you do your research and planning.
As a side note, I "edited" out the extra line breaks of your first post so that everything was closer together and easier us to read without having to "scroll" a lot.
As for that particular model, I really don't have any knowledge of it. However, the wife and I test drove two of the Tiffin Phaetons, a 40-footer and a 42-footer. We preferred the 42-footer because it had the "tag-axle" and was more stable when driving or cornering. As for Tiffin, they have a good reputation as a family owned business that looks after their customers. A couple of years ago, we were at an RV show and the dealer for Tiffin had a sign up that indicated that Tiffin was the top-selling manufacturer of motorhomes and that the Phaetons were the top selling model of the Tiffins.
With that all in mind, I think you would probably have a good choice with what you are looking at, as long as no one else comes along to rain on my comment.
Good luck with your research and planning, and feel free to ask as many questions as come to mind.

Thank you Terry!
This was the first RV site I found when I started to do research on Full Time Rving and I been reading it everyday.
Helen and I have really enjoyed following Howard & Linda in their travel.
I have found answers to some of my question here on the forum and I will post some more questions as I think of them.
