Hi Folks, My name is David and my beautiful wife of 30 years is Kari. I'm 50 years old and Kari is, well let's just say, not as old as I am. We have both recently retired and are heading out on the road. We have RV'd most of our married lives starting from tents up through a Class A Diesel Pusher, the motor home wasn't for us and so we went into 5th wheels and have been here ever since. We plan on staying out 2 to 3 months at a time and we are currently 2 weeks into our first long trip. We plan on staying in the Rocky Mountains until the 1st of October before heading back to Texas. Like a lot of you, I came across Howard and Linda's Journal and that has brought me here, I look forward to getting to know you guys and am excited to be a part of your forum.

Hi David and Kari
We are from south central Texas and are part timers also. Will be going to our local Good Sam campout next weekend in Boerne. After that we'll be looking for a good spot to get cooler for a while. Rocky Mountains might be a good place to head to. Of course we don't have plans and when we do they are written, as they say, in jello. Will have to get onto RVParkreviews and have a look for a good park. Enjoy your summer and welcome aboard. Pat and Charlie

Oh, dang.....
.....more Texans!!!!
Welcome to the RV Dreams forum family, David and Kari. Just on occasion, you will have to put up with an Okie around here, so I guess you should get used to it. Or, are you already at that stage?
If you've been reading much, you will notice that there are a lot of friendly folks here. Plus, they give out a lot of encouragement and knowledge. As you've already been RV'ing for some time, we look forward to your comments and questions.
Oh, and a little side note, the only banned topics are religion, politics, and the OU-Texas rivalry.

Hi David and Kari,
We are Texans also and love the hill country. We'll be hosting at Inks Lake in October, so if you get a chance drop over or PM and we'll get together.
