Hello all I am "Soon to be free" just wanted to say hello. I am still learning things about my RV as I await the count down date. My graduation, lol sounds silly but. After raising the children and always being tied down to a location, I am ready to do some more traveling. So, got my RV and now staying in it until I finish school. In July of 2014, I will be free to travel and enjoy all of Gods beauty out there, and just not have to worry about anyone else but me. This is a great thing, I know since I don't mind doing it alone, as I know I am truly not alone. I can't wait to just sit back in my RV or go for a ride on my 96 Virago, to go back to the beautiful country side, and mountains and just smell the clean air, instead of looking at cement all the time. Life is to short to be confined, but to just enjoy it as I have been blessed to be able to do. Just wanted to give a shout out and say hello to all. This is my first time, I am a baby RV'er but, I see that most stick together. Hope you all have a very blessed beautiful day, and catch a fish for me Please. Keep smiling all and enjoy.

Barbara,
Welcome to the RV Dreams forums. We have quite a "family" here that is helpful, friendly, and encouraging, as well as knowledgeable of just about every kind of RV out there. There are even a few motorcycle lovers as well.
Feel free to ask questions as that is how we all learn and we all learn from each other.
Oh, not to complain, but I have a little difficulty trying to read the colored text.

Just wanted to say thank you for stopping by to welcome me. I pray all is well with you this beautiful day. I am learning daily a little bit more of tricks to my RV since I live in it full time until I will be on the road myself. You are out in the boondocks?? Where is that???

No problem didn't feel like a complaint to me.
Thank you for stopping by to say hello, and yes I have been learning a few things now. Meet a few people where I am staying that have been out on the road themselves. So, have been asking them little tricks, need to really know why all the smells were coming in the RV when the aircondtion was on lol. Well, that one was resolved, but still learning. Thank you for offering your knowledge. I am really looking forward to getting out there and just doing some traveling living and learning so more about what is out there. I use to travel with my parents but just for vacations. To WV for some family reunion and actually all across the states from Fl to NY, to CA and now to NV. I enjoyed the idea to know that if I choice to work while I am out there that their are many places I may go and register with. Some have recommended Escape, I believe is what they called it. Hope you are having a beautiful blessed day, you and your family. Me in school in the walls not out in the beauty. But, soon.

Welcome Barbara! You have found a wonderful group of warm and caring RVers who look out for each other and are always willing to help.
I think you might mean Escapees. It's an organization for full time RVers. There is also Workamper News which is great for finding workamping opportunities.
What are you studying in school?

Thank you for that information I will continue to check on it. I appreciate all the help I can get I know I still have until the end of June. But, I like to always be prepared.
Right now in the Accouting program for my BS. Funny thing is I still do not know what I want to be when I grow up lol.
I have found so far that this site has been very warm and welcoming and I do appreciate that, since that is not the way the stone tower people are lol May you have a blessed day

Hmmm. I wonder if forum moderators are considered to be "stone tower people?" I did comment on her text color earlier.
I may have to "trot out" my "moderator image" again.
Barbara,
I can't even begin to count the number of times that folks have complimented the participants here at RV Dreams, especially when compared with other forum sites. As a moderator, I have very little here to do in the way of "being the forum cop."
