We are soooo excited! We pick up our new 2014 Trilogy next Monday! We leave Sat. to take 2 days to go to Cincinnati, Ohio. I follow hubby in the dully while he drives our beloved Class A - is it okay to tear up over saying good-bye to our 'Amelia'? We did elope with her help after all ! Next Monday we do the PDI and all that stuff that will take all day, then stay nearby the dealership 'just in case'.
Then the trip home we again will take two days - and a lot of prayers for hubby towing, which I am sure he will be just fine (I got a pull thru site on the way back just to ease into that backing in thing - especially after reading all you guys getting free entertainment from newbies backing in ) LOL!
Anyway, we will keep you posted & I hope to do a video to share.
I just want to thank all of the Dreamers, for your support and advise - and yes, even your prayers This has been quite a journey so far, and you all have helped us get to this next step.

Hi Wayne,
We will be going to Colerain RV Sales and staying at Winton Woods CG- they were the closest dealer to Upstate NY for us. So far, they have been great.

That's great Linda you'll be treated fair. Colerain RV is family owned and they are good to work with. We bought a Jayco TT from them several years ago. Our salesman was Steve one of the sons.
Congrats

On the eve before picking up our new Trilogy....and all thru our Class A....only our ulcers were stirring...and low level anxiety was throughout the air.....
Whatever, that did not work. We are in Cincinnati, Ohio now and will be trading in our class A for our new Trilogy - I have to keep repeating it, in order to break thru the surrealism of it -- anyway, we are excited and nervous and trying ever so hard to get into our Zen, hence the glass of wine.
I will put up pics and stuff as soon as I can. We are at a fantastic campground very near the dealer and this helps a lot. The trip down was great - but again, the technology tends to fail us - a topic for another forum topic.
Anyway, send us your prayers tomorrow - the day expected to be long, long, long-- I have special wine for our celebration so, in advance, ignore all posts from me tomorrow nite! LOL!
Zen......

Okay! We got thru the 7 hours at the dealer, spent a solid hour moving stuff - in 90+ degree weather! They did a very good walk thru and answered all our questions without making us feel dumb or rushed. Anyway, it did not rain. All is working so far, except we had water under the residential fridge which turned out to be a cracked water filter. They replaced no problem today (since its residential, can get this part from Lowes), so now another 24 hours to wait for ice (but I got ice trays in the meantime). It is oppressively hot, so the A/C is really getting the test and it is working well considering this heat (there are two).
Overall, the experience was very good and we are very happy with the Trilogy. Hubby is still playing with electronics, etc., he'll be busy puttering for a good long time ;)
Anyway, I want to express my thanks to all of you again for your support and help. I hope to meet a lot of you for the April Rally! Then its full-timing next year. One large step completed ~ now, when we get home: yard sale.

So, we are on our way home and had the first real highway - shake-down trip to our overnight destination.
We checked everything like how stuff fell in cupboards and pipes and I tested a load of laundry again and all was great except the pipe from the smaller sink side was completely loosened off or it wasn't attached in the first place - luckily I had not used that side for dish washing! Easy fix. Ruski is concerned there is not enough air in the hitch 'trail air' thingy, and had to get a small thingy to access it with the compressor - apparently not a big deal. He also managed a very tight gas station and did great. Like I said on my video, first back in is our driveway today :0
On a sad note, last night there were major storms that rolled thru Grove City, PA and some lightening struck a tree, but they think also affected a camper, which caught on fire, and two dogs perished. The owner was not home at the time. It was very sad for this little camping community, the support for this widow was amazing. Love your furry babies and love your loved ones every day.
God Bless you all Dreamers.
