it's been a very challenging few weeks, as the house has been under contract since may 9th but the buyer's lenders were squeamish about the farm value, as there are no comps for anything like our property for miles around.
and two weeks ago we found out i needed asap surgery to remove some rare tumors which had decided this was a great time to make an appearance.
so i had that done on tuesday and yesterday we learned that the loan has been approved!!! i burst into loud sobs at the news and had to hand the phone to dh, who was scared someone had died--it was the anesthesia, it always makes me very emotional, lol.
thanks to all of the powers that be, also because of last saturday we sold every sick of furniture we owned!!
day after tomorrow we leave the farm for the last time, though we don't close until june 21st.
we'll spend until october at camp and then hit the road.
p.s. dh just told me he's coming back to the house for a bath every night next week, lol. we will miss our giant jacuzzi tub!

thank you!!! i'm a little less 'high' today and thinking of just how lucky we are. ours is the first higher end home to sell in our entire town in a very long time, and for more than the appraisal too. dh is feeling well with only one round of chemo left and i'll be ready to go by the time i'm all healed too. i do indeed lead a very charmed life!
