Welcome to another Texan, although we don't spend much time in Texas any more. We lived in the Houston area but since going full time almost five years ago, we go north in summer and back home to Texas in the winter. I guess we're now winter Texans.

Welcome, Jim and Jeanne. We are Texans and also have a house in the south central part of the state. We started a part-time RV life in 2010, and are enjoying the blessings of RV freedom with several trips east of the Mississippi, mostly to visit our adult children in several states including many stops along the way. Hope to head northwest soon. We love New Mexico, and spent many happy years traveling around there while DH was working in Roswell. Enjoy your stay there! Pat and Charlie K

PD CFK We have been going the northern NM and southern CO to get our " cold fix" in the summers for the last 10 + years for about a month. This year going to try leaving RV and splitting out time between both places. I went to HS in Aztec NM-- degree from SWT San Marcos. I know where all of the casinos are located I think up there.

Jim and Jeanne,
Well, since you got all the hearty welcome from the "fellow Texans" out there, I'll jump in as the "fly in the ointment." What that means is that I'm an Okie.
Before we decided to get rid of all the real estate and get ready for traveling, we owned an earlier Rockwood Signature Ultralite fifth wheel. Ours was a 8244S, 26-footer, and a two week stay in Pagosa Springs one year told us the the furniture of the Ultralite lacked a lot in comfort.
Welcome to the RV Dreams forums, and it's good to have you as part of the "family." Feel free to ask any questions that come to mind as we all tend to learn from each other.
