I remember my brother-in-law's; brother; Lloyd who had bought a 1983 full-dressed Harley Motorcycle on his retirement from the paper mill. Three months later he had a stroke which paralyzed the left side of his body. In 2007; I was there visiting and asked if he still had the Harley which only had less than a thousand miles. He was 79 yrs. now; he told me many had offered him 25 thousand for it and turned it down. I said; Why? Lloyd said; "That is what has kept me from giving up; the 'dream of riding that bike again.' In 2011 he died; but his words will forever live in my head; The Dream!
Now I have a dream!!! Don't ever let go of your Dream!!!

Pieere, thanks for the words of wisdom, this is something I needed to hear right now! There are times I feel we will never sell this house and be able to hit the road full time, so should just give up and keep working. However, holding onto the dream of full timing is just as important as attaining the dream, so I will continue to dream until it comes true. Thanks again for the testimony, really needed to hear it and especially from someone like you who has gone through so much.

Rick and Janice......your dream is a reality!!!!
So many times in the last year I've wanted to give up......bought and Sold my coach Twice , then bought a third......
Had 3 major life changing events at 50-53 each one worse than the other.......each time I looked out the hospital window at my coach sitting in the parking lot and knew that my journey wasnt finished and worried I wasnt going to be able to continue.....each time as the medical bills grew bigger I would sell the coach and give up , and a month or 2 later I would take what I had and find another and find away to get it!!
I think the waiting and the challenges we face before we get out of the driveway are what makes fulltiming so enjoyable.........the grass is greener on the other side of the fence out here........you still face a few problems as you go along but it is worth the wait!!!!!
Live,Breathe,Relax!!!!!
We will be out here waiting for you , there is a dreamer waiting around every corner and a space reserved for you next to my campfire.....Keep up the spirit your journey is right around the corner

Very well said, Mike, as usual. I continue to dream, dream, dream, but am doing my level best to live one day at a time. I am finding it helps with the stress level. After all, we are supposed to live just one day at a time, anyway, right? For as long as we are caregivers, I will remain steadfast in my dream(s). When the time comes and we can fulltime, I/we can then LIVE our dream(s). It is only from sticking with this board and its fantastic members that I realize, daily, there IS hope!

I see myself moving toward my dream but taking it one day at a time in doing so. Anymore, we just don't know what tomorrow will bring so today needs to count for something. Some people do dream their life away but they don't take steps toward the dream, build toward the dream which is essential in accomplishing any goal/dream. Dreamers that become doers.
