OK, someone help me out here. Which one of the icons that I am looking at above where I am typing is used for attaching a word doc to a PM?

I think you need to 'copy' and 'paste'. If it is from a word document then there is the icon on the bottom row all the way to the right that you would use. Sorry I can't be of more help. Maybe someone else will respond.

Rick,
Loretta is right. The bottom, right icon (with the image of a clipboard and emblem for Microsoft Word) is used to paste the text of an existing document within the body of the private message, or of a forum post. As far as I know, the forum software does not allow for "attaching" a document like one would with a regular e-mail.
Now, watch someone come along and prove me wrong.

OK, thanks. Would not be convenient for the reader for me to paste an 11 page word doc or PDF file. Guess will just have to get them to email me directly.
