We picked up our 5th wheel on Wednesday and had a wonderful experience at the RV Park adjacent to the dealer. Encountered only minor issues to be taken care of and had our maiden voyage on Friday. Our Keystone Cougar 333MKS is a joy to own. Husband had no problems in hitching, unhitching and learning all of the details. I get off easy because I have double vision (result of a car accident years ago) so no one wants me to be the guide person or driver! My contribution to the effort is to stand back, palms up and shrug my shoulders. Made it home even with strong winds and rain with no problems and now have it packed and ready to hit the road. Thanks for all the tips on packing the interior. Everything is loaded and we still have room to spare. Haven't stopped smiling since they handed me the keys. Thanks again for all of your suport and help along the way.

Congratulations!!!!
I don't know if it would be an option for you, but you might consider a back-up camera mounted near the top of the rear of the fifth wheel. While it won't be the end-all option for seeing what is directly behind the coach, it is something that is beneficial anyway. I've heard of folks mounting one on the rear and one on each side of the coach (similar to motorhoms) so the driver can see both sides and the rear.
Then again, nothing beats G-O-A-L......Get Out And Look!

Terry: That is a good option and not something we had thought about. Always great ideas on this site. I am good at letting him know when something is in the way--I just can't tell him exactly where it is at-but I do give him two options! We've had to learn to find the humor in my vision situation-it isn't going away so we just make the best of it. Sometimes seeing two of everything isn't bad--right now I see two fifth wheels parked in front of my house and I know one of them is mine!! We will look into that back up camera. He uses the mirror on the 5th wheel to hitch and that has worked out great. Kate
I'd post a picture of our new set up, but haven't figured out how to do that yet. Sure have admired all of the ones that have been posted. We are all a lucky bunch.
