Hi Linda & Patrick,
You may wish to use the search button in the blue bar at the top of the forum pages and type in your subject. From what I've read it varies by your state of residency an whether you full time or not.

AARP (United Health Care) is what we use. Works all over the country. We also have our Medicare D plan (prescriptions) with them.

The Medicare supplement is good to cover medical costs. Me and my father were discussing about Medicare as he is soon turning 65. He is thinking to enroll in the Medicare supplement plan G after checking its details on the internet. You can also find a best plan for yourself and enroll in it.

G may work for your father but F is the overwhelming choice.

Since this is a much older thread, I am closing it due to changes having been made to Medicare. Thus, some of the early information in the thread may be out of date.
