Happy Paddler - hope you don't mind me adding to this question. Which ones really work?
The one we bought at Bed Bath and Beyond didn't seem to last in our home,I thought it was hilarious trying to get a space bag that had reinflated off the top shelf of a closet in our spare room so we could sort through what we needed to keep vs. get rid of, not sure DH shared my humor!!
Thus my question, which brands really work, since obviously the ones we bought were quite as long lasting as we hoped.

That is a good question and I don't mind at all. Really didn't stop and think about which ones might work better.
So, if anyone can recommend a brand name for Space Bag that doesn't reinflate..

We use them, they work for us, never reinflated...not sure of the brand, I will check it out. We cycle clothes and blankets with them...

When we were living in super tiny travel trailers (16' & 17') - we tried to use them. But we were moving between different climates so often, that we found the combination of our hyper-mobility and the extra steps of trying to store things in the bags was just too much work. It would never fail when we decided it was time to put the bulky sweaters away, that we'd find ourselves on top of a mountain and needing them again.
So for us, we found it easier to just plan our storage solutions around the actual size of what we needed to carry with us, instead of the compressed size. When we'd go into an area that we needed more clothing/blankets, etc. than we carried with us - we'd just stop by a thrift store and buy them cheaply, then donate when we were done in that climate.

We have several Space Bags purchased from Bed, Bath & Beyond. We keep them in the underbed storage area with seasonal clothes in them. They've worked well so far.

We use a few and have had good luck with the ones from WalMart.

We've tried several different brands with no luck. They start off nice and tightly packed but then lose the vacuum. However one or two will keep the vacuum.
We haven't tried them since.

We have had the same luck as The Bear ll. Tried several brands and they all failed at various fairly short lengths of time.

Going to give space bags a try. I really think the problem is me taking to many clothes! Guess I
will figure it out with experience.

I didn't have good luck with them. We stored then in our basement with winter clothes..Perhaps it was climate change, I don't know.

My wife stores yarn in them and that works. I know she tried to store some other items in them but wasn't happy about it. She has a lot of yarn for plastic canvas projects.
Just wondering if anyone uses or has used space storage bags?
