Talked to my local agent today about full coverage on a new MH. The price was good BUT, it had no provision for "Full Replacement Cost" for a new MH if the current MH was declared a total loss. With the value of a new MH dropping 4 times faster then the loan payoff the first 3-4 years what additional inssurance do you have to replace your unit with another on if it is totalled?

Call GMAC and ask about their full value replacement policy. I don't have it on my policy because my unit is older. 1-800-325-1190 is their number and the reps always seem pleasant. I have insurance with them since 1988, never had a problem for a replaced windshield and an awning; paid the claim quickly.

We went through Miller Insurance and they put together a very good package for us. I also switched our toad over to them. To be honest the deal they had for my toad was almost the same as my prior insurance company but having both insured at the same place just makes things easy.
Check http://www.rv-dreams.com/rv-insurance.html for Howard's RV Insurance considerations. Go with a broker that understands RVs, not your local agent. Howard highly recommends Miller Insurance (http://www.millerrvinsurance.com/ ) as a broker, we are very happy with RV Advantage/Farm & City Insurance - http://www.fcisinsurance.com/rv-advantage.asp . There are a couple others but now you have two to check with.
