What a wonderful experience and wonderful people. We had solar installed by someone which was way over his head with it. It has been a nightmare for us. If you recall, we fryed our Blue Sky solar box with water, Marv Braun to the rescue. After that happened, everytime we had to fill up our fresh water tank DH cringed. Inverter & solar controller placed just above the fresh water intake, so on our way north we made an appointment with AM Solar to see what they could do. From the moment we walked in we were impressed. The waiting room has everything you could want if you need to wait for repairs. coffee, tea, water, pop, goodies and library full of rv books, maps etc. Deb (owner) was full of places where to eat, where the shops were, even scenic drives to go on. We were able to stay in the shop driveway for two nights. We arrived on Monday and they did an assessment of what could be done, Tuesday after 9 hours, the work was done but they wanted us to stay over night just to make sure everything was working OK. In the morning, Greg (the owner) met with us went over everything with us, explained the monitors and readings, what we should be aware of, you name it, he covered it. Wish we had gone with them in the first place. It is worth the drive to come to AM Solar and get your work done.

Good to hear....I have them quoting all of the components for my proposed system and look forward to seeing how the compare.
Good luck with your system and happy boondocking!

I concur. We were in Springfield, OR around the summer solstice for an install on our 2013 Leisure Travel Vans Unity MB. Greg, Deb, Roger, Dave, and the installers were all great. I'll let the pictures do the talking. Two more batteries are under the top entry step to the right of those pictured.

Very nice looking work with the proper size cable, swathes, etc. I notice in the picture they even have tie-wrapped a spare catastrophic fuse right on the line. You won't see that important detail too often.
While I did the installation of our solar system, we purchased all the components from AM Solar and it was a great experience. There were very knowledgeable with information freely provided.
